free/community funded birth debrief nomination
I am very grateful to be able to offer two debriefing sessions free of charge for two people each month. One of these sessions is completely free, the second is funded by the community each month. I will reach out to my community each month to raise funds for this very worthy cause, so I can help another person but also still earn a living wage.
A birth debrief is an opportunity to tell your story and to have it truly heard.
In a session you can:
have your story heard
explore your feelings around your story and experience
reflect on your experience
provide opportunities to sit with these feelings, have them heard and witnessed, an opportunity to move through/forward/process
explore and unpack decisions, actions, moments that are sticking with you
ask questions
build confidence for and explore options for future birth(s)
It's really a session that is about what is going to serve you and these sessions look different for everyone.
If you know someone or are someone who would really love to have a birth debrief but for whatever reason this is not possible as a paid service, then please nominate yourself or someone that you know. If you are nominating another person, please chat to them first and make sure they are comfy with the nomination as you also need to add their email into the form below.
I will contact everyone who makes a submission, I am not sure what the volume will be at this stage, so it is likely that I will create a waiting list for everyone who applies.
