Sadly there is a little admin-like paperwork things to get done as part of working together. Don’t worry I do try and make it as easy and not boring as possible.
Get to know you
When you get a minute, please fill out this get to know you survey - it helps me to a) get to know you and b) plan how to tailor my services and approach to your unique scenario. I also would hate to give you nuts if you’re allergic; it’s the small things, you know? ;)
Contract Agreement
Once you have completed the above survey I can draw up our contract agreement. To set our work in stone, please read and sign your contract agreement, which I will send to you via email.
Payment for Services
Ah, if only all the good things in life were free; well some are… anyway!
Fees are agreed to based on selected package, additional visits, and extra services.
To confirm your services the following is required:
50% of the fees to be paid up front
For birth support packages, balance paid no later than 34 weeks
If fees have not been finalised, I am not able to go on call at 38 weeks
For non birth support packages, balance paid no later than 38 weeks
I accept bank transfer or cash. We can also set up a payment arrangement.
If a payment plan is being used, this must be agreed upon in writing by you and I prior to the signing of this contract.
Communication is key
As you know, you have access to reach me anytime at all throughout our work together.
Firstly please save my number in your phone and if you have a partner or another support person then please also ask them to do the same.

Download Whatsapp and send me a message through the app! If you would like to have a group chat with your other birth support team members or with a group who will be supporting you in postpartum, this is a great place to do it.
Sharing files and information will happen through a shared folder on Google Drive, I will have already sent you a link in your welcome email.
An important little activity
Before our first meeting I’d like you to do a little activity!
Now it’s not just for fun - it’s a conversation starter for our first session together. If you have another support person in addition to me, a partner/friend/family member they will also need to complete the activity.
It’s super simple and is designed to require little to no thought, go with it and just type the first thing that comes into your head whether it makes sense or not.
